Confined Spaces in Wind Turbines
The Wind Turbine Confined Spaces Course is the official course aimed at wind industry personnel working in confined areas of wind turbines, such as inside the blades and hub. The objective of this course is to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to safely work in confined spaces, minimizing associated risks and complying with occupational health and safety regulations.
This course provides comprehensive training in recognizing, controlling, and managing the specific risks present in wind turbine confined spaces, such as hazardous atmospheres, restricted access, and adverse working conditions. In this way, it ensures that workers are trained to perform high-risk tasks by applying appropriate prevention measures and using the required personal protective equipment.
The course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to work safely in confined spaces in wind turbines. It is divided into four main sections:
- Introduction to confined space safety.
- Personal and collective protective equipment.
- Technical knowledge on risk assessment and management in wind turbines.
- Rescue practices and emergency maneuvers.
Certification for this course is valid for 2 years, ensuring that participants maintain updated competencies for safe work in confined spaces in the wind industry.
To take the course, you must:
- be at least 18 years old
- be in good physical and mental condition
The course lasts 7 hours (one day) and is held in our training centers.
Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate that is valid for two years that allows you to work in confined spaces.

Wind Turbine Confined Spaces
The Wind Turbine Confined Spaces course is part of the specialized safety training for the wind industry and provides the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely in confined spaces within wind turbines, such as inside the blades and the hub.
The course lasts for 7 hours (one day) and grants an official certification valid for two years.
The Wind Turbine Confined Spaces course prepares you to:
- Identify and plan the necessary measures to safely perform tasks inside confined spaces, assessing the associated risks.
- Access and work safely in confined spaces using individual and collective protective equipment, such as fall arrest systems and respiratory protection equipment.
- Recognize hazardous atmospheres and apply the appropriate procedures for their evaluation and control using gas measurement equipment and ventilation systems.
- Correctly execute rescue maneuvers and evacuations in emergency situations in confined spaces, ensuring the workers’ integrity.
