Solar Safety Training
The Solar Technical Training (S-TT) course is the official program designed for personnel in the solar sector involved in the installation and connection of photovoltaic systems in large-scale plants. The aim of this program is to provide the technical and safety competencies necessary to carry out complete photovoltaic installations, following quality procedures and current regulations.
In this way, workers are ensured to be properly qualified to perform assembly, connection, and verification tasks safely and efficiently, contributing to the reliability of the installations and to occupational risk prevention.
The S-TT course focuses on the key aspects of installation and electrical systems in photovoltaic plants, from the assembly of structures and modules to the connection, protection, and verification of electrical equipment.
This course is designed to equip participants with the practical skills essential to work professionally and safely in the solar sector. It is divided into two complementary modules:
- Installation Module (STTI): Assembly of structures and photovoltaic modules, basic connections, and initial verification.
- Electrical Module (STTE): Electrical connections in DC and AC, installation of protections, lockout/tagout, and basic fault diagnosis.
The certification for this course has permanent validity, in accordance with international standards set by GWO and the Global Solar Council.
To take the course, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good physical and mental condition.
The two modules together last 20 hours and are carried out in our training centers.
At the end of each module, you will receive a certificate with permanent validity, which allows you to work in any solar installation.

Solar Technical Training Installation
The Solar Technical Training – Installation Module (STTI) is the official course aimed at professionals involved in the installation of photovoltaic systems in solar plants. Its objective is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant installations.
During the course, you will learn how to inspect the site, assemble support structures, place and secure photovoltaic modules, perform direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) connections, apply torque procedures using torque wrenches, and verify correct operation through measurement tests.
With an approximate duration of 12 hours (2 days), this module combines theory and practice in simulated environments, ensuring that participants acquire skills directly applicable to real projects.
The certification for this course has permanent validity, and qualifies you to:
- Carry out safe and efficient photovoltaic installations.
- Assemble and secure structures and PV modules according to quality standards.
- Perform basic electrical connections in DC and AC.
- Apply control and verification procedures before commissioning.
This module is especially designed for installers and technicians in the solar sector who want to acquire solid training in photovoltaic system installation.

Solar Technical Training Electrical
The Solar Technical Training – Electrical Module (STTE) is the official course intended for professionals responsible for the electrical part of the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants. Its objective is to train participants in the proper connection, protection, and verification of solar electrical systems.
During the course, you will learn to identify the main electrical components of a PV installation, perform safe DC and AC connections, install and check protections (fuses, circuit breakers, and surge protection devices), apply electrical lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, measure electrical parameters with test instruments, and diagnose basic electrical faults.
With an approximate duration of 8 hours (1 day), this module provides a theoretical and practical approach that ensures mastery of the key competencies in electrical safety and operation.
The certification for this course has permanent validity, and qualifies you to:
- Safely connect and verify PV electrical systems.
- Install and test electrical protections in compliance with regulations.
- Perform measurement tests and diagnose electrical faults.
- Apply lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
This module is designed for electricians, installers, and technicians in the solar sector who require specialized training in the electrical part of photovoltaic systems.
