Solar Safety Training
The Solar Safety Training (S-ST) course is the official training program aimed at personnel in the solar sector who carry out their duties in large-scale photovoltaic plants. The goal of this course is to provide the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to work safely, identifying risks, applying preventive measures, and responding correctly in case of emergency.
In this way, workers are ensured to be properly qualified to perform high-risk tasks in the solar sector, complying with safety regulations and contributing to the prevention of accidents.
The S-ST course focuses on the identification, control, and minimization of risks specific to the solar industry, including first aid, safe working practices, manual handling, fire prevention, and working at heights.
This introductory course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills to work safely in the solar sector. It is divided into three complementary modules:
- First Aid (S-FA): First aid in the solar environment.
- First Aid Awareness (S-FAA): Awareness of first aid.
- Safe Solar Work (S-SW): Safe work in solar installations.
The certification for this course is valid for 24 months, in accordance with international standards set by GWO and the Global Solar Council.
To take the course, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good physical and mental condition.
The three modules together last 19 hours and are carried out in our training centers.
At the end of each module, you will receive a certificate valid for 24 months, which allows you to work in any solar installation.

First Aid Awareness
Strengthen prevention with the First Aid Awareness (S-FAA) course.
This introductory module is designed to raise awareness about the importance of first aid in solar environments, providing workers with the basic knowledge to identify emergency situations and activate the chain of survival effectively.
You will learn to recognize common signs of emergencies, apply simple initial measures such as controlling minor bleeding or placing a victim in a safe position, and ensure that emergency services receive the necessary information to intervene quickly and efficiently.
With an approximate duration of 4 hours, this course combines theory with simple practical exercises focused on prevention and basic response.
The certification is valid for 24 months and qualifies you to:
- Identify health risks in the workplace.
- Apply basic first aid measures.
- Effectively support the initial emergency response.
This module is ideal for workers entering the solar sector who want essential training in health and safety.

First Aid
Enhance workplace safety with the First Aid (S-FA) course.
This theoretical and practical program is designed to provide participants with the essential competencies in first aid applied to the solar sector, ensuring they can respond quickly and effectively to workplace incidents.
You will learn how to recognize emergencies, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), treat bleeding, burns, and fractures, and respond to shock, hypothermia, or choking. You will also develop the ability to coordinate the initial response and ensure the protection of the team until emergency services arrive.
With an approximate duration of 14 hours, this course combines practice and realistic simulations to ensure participants gain skills directly applicable in everyday scenarios at solar plants.
The certification is valid for 24 months and qualifies you to:
- Respond effectively to emergencies in solar environments.
- Apply first aid techniques safely and confidently.
- Protect your own integrity and that of your colleagues in critical situations.
This module is especially designed for solar sector workers who operate in high-risk environments, reinforcing preventive culture and workplace safety.

Safe Solar Work
Work confidently in solar environments with the Safe Solar Work (S-SW) course.
This module is designed to provide participants with the essential safety knowledge and practices for the solar industry, focusing on risk prevention during installation, operation, and maintenance of photovoltaic plants.
You will learn to identify electrical, mechanical, and environmental hazards; correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE); safely handle modules and tools; and apply signaling and workplace control procedures. The course also covers measures for extreme environmental conditions and proper actions in case of emergency.
With an approximate duration of 6 hours, this course combines theory with practical sessions in simulated environments to ensure workers apply safety procedures effectively.
The certification is valid for 24 months and qualifies you to:
- Recognize and control risks in solar installations.
- Use PPE and tools correctly.
- Implement safe practices in assembly, handling, and basic operations.
- Respond appropriately to workplace incidents.
This module is especially intended for professionals in the solar sector who want to strengthen their preventive culture and ensure safe operations in photovoltaic projects.
