IRATA accreditation is the most highly regarded worldwide for becoming a true professional in vertical work. IRATA’s techniques and maneuvers for rope access and height work are the most highly regarded for safety worldwide.

Total HSE offers training at all levels of IRATA with experienced and professional instructors.

IRATA accreditation, recognized globally, are offered at three levels:

  • IRATA Level 1 Course
  • IRATA Level 2 Course
  • IRATA Level 3 Course

Today, you can take the first step to become a specialist in vertical work.

To take the course and get your IRATA accreditation, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be in good physical and mental shape

IRATA 1

Course IRATA

Level 1

In this height course, you will acquire knowledge and training in safety when using height work equipment and in inspecting its condition.

At all times, you will be supervised by a certified instructor with IRATA Level 3 certification for smooth learning, always focused on safety.

Program: Rope Technician Qualification for Ascent, Positioning, and Basic Rescue Maneuvers.

The course has a duration of 5 days and one day of examination and awards you an official certification valid for 36 months (3 years).

IRATA 2

Course IRATA

Level 2

In this height course, you will acquire the skills to tie work ropes, carry out rescues, and perform height work tasks under the supervision of an instructor.

This course also includes legislation, mandatory safety regulations, and equipment quality control processes.

Program: rope technician qualification for complex maneuvers, installations, rescues, and load movements.

Additional requirements:

  • Possess a valid IRATA Level 1 certificate.
  • Have 1,000 hours of work as a Level 1 technician.
  • At least one year of experience as an IRATA Level 1 technician.

The course has a duration of 5 days and one day of examination and awards you an official certification valid for 36 months (3 years).

IRATA 3

Course IRATA

Level 3

In this height course, you will learn how to supervise installations where height work is being performed.

You will also learn advanced rescue techniques and new rope tying techniques, equipment use and limitations, under the supervision of an instructor.

Program: rope technician qualification for complex maneuvers, installations, rescues, and load movements.

Additional requirements:

Possess a valid IRATA Level 2 certificate.
Have 1,000 hours of work as a Level 2 technician.
At least one year of experience as an IRATA Level 2 technician.

The course has a duration of 5 days and one day of examination and awards you an official certification valid for 36 months (3 years).
